The future of the Yankees......

Well, Joe Torre is now the Dodgers manager and Mattingly, my favorite athlete, is likely to follow him there. A-Rod could most likely be gone even though there is still a chance he will come back. Posada and Rivera it looks like are staying and Pettite as well. The team could be different next year, and I think that may be good. The team needs to be younger and rebuild itself from within. Cashman says he want to shrink the payroll and not go out and buy more players. I agree with that. Time will tell.......
